A new parliamentary constituency, crossing the Devon and Cornwall border, has been suggested again by boundary commission.

It would combine Bideford, Launceston and Bude and is part of plans to cut the number of MPs.

The revised proposal was published today, 17 October, setting out new constituencies in the South West.

Other constituencies also have minor changes proposed.

The plans are now out for consultation and can be accessed in the Boundaries Commission England 2018 website here.

The public have until 11 December to give feedback on the proposals.
