Last bank in Devon town in closes permanently
The last bank in a Devon town has been permanently closed today, 10 October.
The Lloyds bank in Topsham shut its doors for the final time at 2pm.
The bank says changes to the way people do their banking, such as online, has reduced the number of customers choosing to visit their branches.
It is now the 14th bank to close in the county in 2017.
Customers in Topsham will now have to travel to Exeter to access their nearest branch.
