36 councillors could be cut from Cornwall Council in 2021
36 councillors could be cut from Cornwall council under new recommendations.
An electoral review by the Boundary Commission has suggested wards should be redrawn so that each councillor represents roughly an equal number of voters.
The proposed changes would lower the total number of councillors from 123 to 87.
The commission is now asking local people to provide feedback on the plans.
If approved the change would come into effect during the local elections in 2021.
