The annual Bristol International Balloon Fiesta attracts over 130 hot air balloons from across the globe. This year, running from Thursday 10 August to Sunday 13 August, thousands of people will gather at Ashton Court Estate over the four days.
The mass ascent of balloons tonight, as part of the Bristol Balloon Fiesta, has been cancelled, due to weather conditions.
Official organisers of the event confirmed the cancellation via Twitter, but said the site will still be open to the public on Friday 11 August:
