Police 'increasingly concerned' for missing woman as her car is found

Have you seen Lauren Philips? Credit: Police

Police are growing increasingly concerned about a young woman who's been missing for a week - and are asking the public for help.

Lauren Philips, who's 26, was last seen on Thursday 23 February - she failed to turn up to work in Bristol on Sunday.

Yesterday, her car was found in Woolacombe, Devon.

Officers from Devon and Cornwall Police are assisting with the search to find her along with HM Coastguard, the RNLI and the National Police Air Service.

We really need the public’s help in finding her so if you see her or think you might know where she is, please get in touch.

We’re particular keen for bed and breakfast owners or hoteliers in and around the Woolacombe area to check whether she has booked in with them.

– Detective Inspector Mark Langdon

If you see Lauren please call 101.
