Bristol City Council to invest in housing, roads & social care
Bristol City Council has confirmed its annual budget for the next financial year and has outlined where the money will be spent.

The meeting confirmed the capital budget at £134m, will be spent on projects to improve infrastructure such as roads and buildings, as well as housing.
They also voted to up council tax to nearly 4%, with the extra revenue dedicated to delivering adult social care in the city.
The council agreed a 3.95% increase in council tax, costing just over £1 a week for the a Band D home.
