Devon radio legend Tony Beard dies
Devon radio legend Tony Beard has died.
The long-serving presenter on BBC Radio Devon - affectionately known as The Wag from Widecombe - was 79 years old.
Mr Beard, who presented a Sunday show on BBC Radio Devon and had been a presenter for around 35 years, had announced in April last year that he had been diagnosed with bladder cancer.
