Becky Watts trial: Accused - 'Becky was spoilt and selfish'

Matthews was "not fond" of his step sister, and would get quite agitated by her and the way she spoke to his mum.

Telling the court about a holiday she took with Matthews, Hoare, Becky and Anjie and Darren Galsworthy, a witness said the 28-year-old would often complain about the teen.

The witness is not being named.

He hated the way she treated his mum, he just said she was a brat, he used that word a few times.

He just generally disliked her. Nathan said she treated his mum like c**p and she was spoilt and selfish.

He said he hated Becky, when her name was bought up he would get quite agitated. He would start moaning and get agitated.

– Witness

When questioned about Hoare, the witness said she believed the 21-year-old felt the same, but did not hate the teen as much as Matthews did.

Shauna was not keen on her either because of the way she treated Anjie, but with Shauna it was more of a dislike, rather than hatred.

– Witness

The witness said, while on holiday at Butlins in August 2014, they had appeared "like a normal family".
