The Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn is in Bristol for his first visit to the region since being elected. He received a standing ovation from activists at a rally in St. Pauls to encourage more people to register to vote.

Jeremy Corbyn makes first visit to region as Labour Leader

Jeremy Corbyn is making his first visit to the region since being elected Leader of the Labour Party.

Mr Corbyn will visit Bristol this morning to encourage people to participate in the voter registration drive.

He will also mark Black History Month by meeting with race equality activists, joining Marvin Rees - Labour's candidate for Bristol Mayor.
