Body found in search for missing woman

A body found at Budleigh Salterton beach is believed to be missing Jayne Brocklehurst, police have said.

48-year-old Jayne was last seen on August 8 at her family's flat on West Hill.

A member of the public discovered the woman's body shortly before 6pm on August 14, not far from Steamer steps.

Formal identification has not yet taken place, but the family have been informed.
