A petition calling for the Chief Constable of Avon and Somerset Police to resign has been handed over to the Police and Crime Commissioner, Sue Mountstevens.
There has been growing pressure for Nick Gargan to step down after he was found guilty of eight misconduct charges last month.
More than a thousand people have signed the petition.
It has emerged that 24 out of 25 Avon and Somerset police superintendents voted 'no confidence' in Nick Gargan.
