Twenty soldiers injured on Salisbury Plain

There's been an accident involving three military vehicles on Salisbury Plain. South West Ambulance treated up to twenty casualties. At least two soldiers have suffered "life changing injuries", and several were airlifted to hospital.

Twenty soldiers injured in multi-vehicle accident

Around twenty soldiers have been injured during a military training exercise on Salisbury Plain.

Three military vehicles collided at around six thirty this evening.

Two soldiers suffered life threatening injuries in the crash, while eight more sustained serious injuries.

It is understood both British and Indian military personnel were involved in the incident.
