New approval rules for wind farms could see fewer built in the south west

The West Country could see a drastic cut in the number of wind farm developments under new government plans.

Soon communities may have the final say on whether a wind farm gets the go ahead and lucrative subsidies to build them could be scrapped.

Geoffrey Cox the Conservative MP for Torridge and West Devon believes this is a good thing for the south west.
