Supporters of a football club under threat of closure will be handing a petition of 5,000 signatures to Almondsbury Parish Council tonight.
Hallen FC were supposed to hand the keys to the council at the weekend but refused.
They want councillors to discuss a solution to secure the future of the club, and have put in an offer to buy the ground.
