An amateur football club near Bristol says it will have to fold after being "evicted" from the ground it has used for more than 40 years.
Hallen Football Club, who play in the Toolstation Premier and have several junior teams, say Almondsbury Parish Council is closing The Hallen Centre, which is used by the whole community.
The council said it has provided support to the club, but the centre could not be made financially viable.
It's easy to say we're not viable, but at the end of the day it's for the people and parishioners of Hallen. And yes there's people out there who probably don't live in the parish of Almonsbury, but they are children. They are there and they are enjoying their sports.
