The trial of two men accused of killing an elderly driving instructor to steal his life savings is due to end at Truro Crown Court.

The body of 72-year-old David Alderson from Falmouth was found in a sunken pond at Wheal Maid, a disused copper mine near Carharrack, Cornwall in January last year.

Defendants Kevin Cooper and Trewen Kevern both deny murder. The jury has retired to consider its verdict.
