Plans for a new ice rink in Gloucester are being supported by the city council. Developer Stanhope are looking to develop a site at the new Kings Quarter regeneration scheme.

The South West has the fewest number of ice rinks of any region in the UK. The nearest international-sized rink is in Swindon.
