Jump racing's biggest show of the year Cheltenham Festival has started with more than 230,000 punters expected at the Gloucestershire track in four days.
Around 400 horses are expected to race during the week, with about £250 million wagered on them.
Somerset trainer Paul Nicholls has missed out on his 5th Gold Cup win with Silviniaco Conti. Talking to Channel 4 Nicholls said there were "no excuses" and the "winner was impressive."
Coneygree won the cup with Djakadam coming second and Road to Riches was third.
