Statement: Swindon Borough Council

Swindon Borough Council does not own the Marshgate site, so the council would therefore not be liable for any costs to clear it. From the outset of this difficult situation the council and partner agencies have been committed to helping local residents and businesses, whilst also minimising any costs to the public purse.
