Gloucestershire father's Himalayan feat

A self-confessed unfit man from Gloucestershire has managed to scale the height of Everest to raise money to help his daughter walk.

James Bottger climbed Robinswood Hill in Gloucester 75 times in a row. He started on Saturday and finished just before 10pm, 22 December.

Daughter of Gloucester's 'Everest' fundraiser has her life-changing operation

The Gloucestershire father who climbed the equivalent of Everest to raise money for his four-year-old daughter with cerebral palsy says she is doing well after the treatment she needs to help her walk.

James Bottger from Slimbridge walked up and down Robinswood Hill 75 times last month, raising £26,000.
