Man climbs the height of Everest to help daughter walk

A self-confessed unfit man from Gloucestershire is climbing the height of Mount Everest to raise money to help his daughter to walk.

James Bottger is climbing Robinswood Hill in Gloucester 75 times in a row - the equivalent of the almost 9000metres - to try to raise enough money to pay for 3 year old Charlotte to have an operation in America.

He's supported by our Pride of Britain winner Jamie McDonald - who has set up a new foundation to encourage charity challenges with his cousin Kev Brady. Ken Goodwin reports:

To donate some money towards Charlotte's treatment visit superherofoundation.org.
