Men released on bail in murder investigation of Swindon sex worker

Three men from Swindon and Chippenham arrested on suspicion of murdering a sex worker 20 years ago have been released on bail. 23 year old Sally Ann John went missing in 1995, but police opened an investigation last year in light of new evidence.

Missing Sallyann's mother makes emotional appeal

The mother of a young woman police believe was murdered has made a tearful appeal for information - 19 years after her daughter disappeared.

Sallyann John was last seen alive in September 1995 in the Manchester Road area of Swindon where she'd been working as a prostitute. Police say new leads have prompted them to re-start the investigation.
