Cyclist who failed drug test back on his bike
Disgraced Westcountry based cyclist Jonathan Tiernan-locke was today back in the saddle taking on the gruelling one hundred kilometre Exmoor Beast Cycle ride.
He was banned from professional cycling and stripped of his title as winner of the tour of Britain after failing a drugs test. He says the ruling only relied on one blood test which showed an anomaly and he can't afford to appeal. He has mixed feelings about returning as a full time professional racer.
