Shelter 'forced' to hand Glastonbury dog back to owner

The animal shelter caring for a dog abandoned at Glastonbury, and which Dolly Parton had offered to re-home, says it has been legally forced to hand the dog back to its owner.

Dolly says she will adopt abandoned dog

Country music legend Dolly Parton says she will give a home to the dog found abandoned at the Glastonbury Festival.

Dolly, who stole the show with her first ever Glastonbury performance last week, said she would step in if no one collects her namesake from the Happy Landings shelter near Worthy Farm where she is currently being held.
