Queen's Baton Relay comes to Bristol
The Queen's Baton Relay is on its way to Bristol in the run-up to the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow this summer.
The four Batonbearers have been selected by the West of England Sport Trust and Bristol City Council: James Gibson and Rondene Vassell, Bristol City Council Youth Mayors; Peter Miles, a Judo athlete from Whitchurch; Tracie Colbron, a Wheelchair Basketball Coach from Westbury on Trym.
The creative industries across Bristol and Bath have received £46 million to create 'new experiences and boost productivity.'
