23 May 2014 at 12:59pm Labour remain in control on Exeter City Council Labour have gained 3 seats on Exeter City Council and UKIP failed to secure a victory but came second in two of the 13 wards that were up for grabs. The Labour leader, Cllr Pete Edwards, said it showed that people supported their policies for growth in the city. Conservative leader Yolanda Henson lost her seat after 32 years as a councillor but says she'll continue working with the Conservative Party.
