It was subsequently revealed that Fred West and his wife Rosemary West murdered at least 11 people at various addresses in the city
20 years ago an investigation started that was to result in one of the biggest mass murder cases in the country. The police began digging in the garden of number 25 Cromwell Street in Gloucester. They went on to discover 12 sets of human remains in various locations.
