Protestors evicted from Barnstaple pub
Protestors occupying the site of a former pub in Barnstaple to stop it from demolition have been evicted.

Locals have joined the direct action protest at The Borough Arms pub in Barnstaple. The supporters of the occupation say the pub mustn't be demolished to make way for houses and flats.
They say it should be a community facility. The developer Chichester Homes won planning permission last week to convert the premises into properties.
