The Labour Leader, Ed Miliband, is visiting Somerset flood victims today to discuss insurance claims. His visit coincides with a Downing Street summit on the issue.
Environment Agency chairman Lord Smith is on the Somerset Levels to meet residents affected by the flooding.
In an interview with ITV News West Country presenter Ian Axton, Lord Smith refused to apologise for the situation, blaming funding constraints and the unprecedented amount of rainfall.
