Cost of policing badger cull revealed
The estimated total for policing the badger cull in Gloucestershire was £1.7 million. Avon and Somerset Police recorded costs of almost £739,000.

Gloucestershire's police and crime commissioner has revealed the full cost to the force of the recent badger cull.
Martin Surl says the estimated total for policing the cull over the seven week period was £1.7 million pounds. He says the cost will be recharged to central government.
