Firefighters were called out this afternoon (Tuesday) to help a paraglider who crashed on Leckhampton Hill near Cheltenham.
Whey they arrived at the scene, they called in rope rescue teams from Coleford to help what was a complex rescue.
The Hazardous Area Response Team and paramedics also attended and the casualty was taken to hospital by air ambulance.
