'A man mountain who leaves a big space in our hearts'

He [James] loved life here with us and always 'got stuck in' with military life.

He truly lived and breathed it and the only comfort we can take from his loss is that he was at the very top of his game and doing something he was utterly passionate about.

James, i will miss your advice, your help and your ideas and am very sad that we will now never get to put some of our work plans into action.

But mostly i am just sad because your chair is empty and we never got to welcome you home.

RIP amongst your brothers, we will never forget you.
