Baby death sentencing
A Plymouth father has been jailed for seven years for killing his baby daughter. The jury at Plymouth Crown Court took less than two hours to convict Benjamin Roach of shaking one-month-old Roxie Hopkins-Roach to death.
Baby's father guilty of manslaughter
Benjamin Roach, the father of baby Roxie Hopkins-Roach, who died of injuries sustained at their home in Plymouth in September 2010, has been found guilty of her manslaughter.
Roach will be sentenced tomorrow at Plymouth Crown Court.
