Hope for new RNLI base in Weston-super-Mare
The RNLI says it may have found a new site for their lifeboat station in Weston-super-Mare after moving out of their base on Birnbeck Pier which was unsafe.
Plans in place to "restore and maintain" Birnbeck Pier
Michael Ross, of property developers CNM Estates, says plans are afoot to repair the dilapidated Birnbeck Pier in Weston-super-Mare - even if the project doesn't receive lottery funding:
