A former bishop of Gloucester had been arrested on suspicion of abusing eight boys and men in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Bishop questioned over child abuse allegations
A former Bishop now living in Somerset has been arrested in connected with alleged child abuse.
The Right Reverend Peter Ball, who's 80, resigned as Bishop of Gloucester in 1993. He was arrested this morning at his home near Langport. He's being held over allegations of sexual abuse at properties in East Sussex and elsewhere back in the Eighties and Nineties.
