Bridgwater Carnival
Bridgwater's famous carnival - held on a Saturday for the first time in years - had 117 entries, including more than 50 illuminated carts. Each one is up to 100ft long with up to 25,000 lights.
Carnival clubs ready for their big night
The much anticipated Bridgwater Carnival procession begins shortly as part of a three year experiment which sees it move to Saturday night.
It's hoped the change in day will encourage even more people to attend the high profile event, seen by many as the highlight of the carnival circuit.
