Bristol Parkway station has been evacuated
British Tranport Police have confirmed that the security alert at Bristol Parkway station is over. Trains are now running freely from the station.
Following the security alert this afternoon at Bristol Parkway station, the train has now been cleared and the station has re-opened. Trains are now running again.
BTP officers were called to Bristol Parkway rail station on Thursday, 26 July at 5.04pm.
They carried out an investigation into an unattended package onboard the 1528 Swansea to London Paddington service. Passengers were evacuated and the station closed with trains running through. The alert was resolved shortly after 6.40pm.
