Bristol Rovers' new stadium will get the go ahead

Bristol Rovers' new 40 million pound stadium looks like it will get approval next week.

Planning officers have recommended that South Gloucestershire councillors give the scheme the go-ahead when they meet next Thursday to decide on its future.

The club wants to build the new ground on the northern fringe of the city, in partnership with the University of the West of England, which bought the land.
