Eye-witness describes how aircraft crash landed

An eye-witness has spoken how he saw an aircraft crash at a Gloucestershire airfield. Emergency services were called to Kemble Airfield just after 3pm this afternoon.

The pilot of this twin engine American light aircraft had a lucky escape this afternoon at Kemble airfield, Gloucestershire, when he skimmed the ground whilst practising display manoeuvres. The plane was burnt out, but the unindentified pilot was said not to be badly hurt after the fire was extuinguished by appliances stationed at the airfield.
