Fire crews have been tackling a fire at the Falmouth Beach Hotel. They were called to the scene just after midday. It is thought to have broken out in the bedrooms.
8,000 litres of sea water pumped into hotel a minute
Fire crews are pumping 8,000 litres per minute of sea water to try and dampen the remains of the blaze at Falmouth Beach Hotel.
3km of hosepipe is running from Gyllyngvase Beach down the road and to the hotel.
