Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has said the party is hoping to make big gains in the region in May’s local elections. 

Both Bristol politicians have been nominated by Sir Keir Starmer and are set to enter the House of Lords.

Cllr Richard Clewer also claims the Government has told council leaders to adopt an elected mayor - something he "dislikes".
