West Country D Day Anniversary

Tens of thousands of people have gathered across the West Country to honour the role their community played in the historic invasion of Normandy.

Dr Suzanne Sparrow, who is 99 years old, has become one of Plymouth's most successful businesswomen.

Geoff Wilson said he was inspired to create the memorial after visiting a military cemetery in Normandy.
