Storm Angus and its aftermath
The first named storm of the winter hit the West Country over the weekend bringing with it heavy rain, flooding and strong winds. It has meant problems on the roads and railways.
Although Angus has passed more severe weather followed closely behind.

The battle to protect Bradford on Avon from the floods
The Environment Agency moved in last night to protect the Wiltshire town of Bradford on Avon against rising river levels. Work took place to install flood defences at Bull Pit ready for the high tide.
A picture Tweeted this morning shows the historic bridge still well clear of the rather high River Avon.

Car skids into wall in bad weather
Crews from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service have Tweeted a picture of one of the problems in the flooding.
It shows the damage after a car slid on the skidpan of surface water right into a brick wall.

Bristol Temple Meads reopens
Bristol Temple Meads has reopened and the diversionary route between Taunton and Bristol Temple Meads has also opened.
Trains will start to run between the stations.
Flooding closes Bristol Temple Meads
Temporary station closure on Great Western Railway at Bristol Temple Meads due to flooding.
Station is closed until further notice.
Flood water destroys Tarr Steps on Exmoor
Part of an ancient stone footbridge has been washed away in flooding on Exmoor.
The Tarr Steps usually provide a crossing for the River Barle but as our reporter Bob Cruwys discovered, they've been washed away by floodwater.
