Police discourage speculation into Halliwell's 'other victims'
Wiltshire Police has issued a statement to discourage speculation into who else convicted murderer Christopher Halliwell may have killed.
The Swindon taxi driver was jailed for a whole life term last week, after being found guilty of murdering Becky Godden. The 52 year-old was already serving a life sentence for the murder of Sian O’Callaghan in 2011.
While the force admits that it is "conceivable" there may be more victims, it is urging against further speculation, at the risk of upsetting families.
It comes as former detective Steve Fulcher has been naming potential victims in a series of media interviews.
