Hundreds have taken part in a walk in memory of seven year old April Reeves who was killed after being hit by a car in Locking.
She was out on a family bike ride when she the accident took place on the A371.

Hundreds expected for walk in memory of school girl
Hundreds are expected to turn out for a walk to raise awareness of the death of seven year old April Reeves from Weston-super-Mare who died following a collision on the A371.
April died when the pushbike she was riding was in collision with a car last month (28/5).
Parents and local teachers are now campaigning for the speed limit on the A371 to be reduced. The walk is through the village of Locking and begins just after 9am.
The walk coincides with a national campaign by the road safety charity Brake which has published a survey showing a quarter of parents say the route between their home and primary school is safe enough for children to walk or cycle unsupervised.

School girl killed while cycling in Weston named
A seven-year-old girl from Weston-super-Mare who died following a collision on the A371 has been named as April Reeves.
April died when the pushbike she was riding was in collision with a car just before 3pm on Thursday (28/5). The collision happened between RAF Locking and the Helicopter Museum.
April was out cycling with her mother and 10-year-old brother at the time and up until just before the collision they were using the combined cycleway/pathway.
April’s family have said they are completely devastated by her death and added that she was greatly loved by all her family and friends.
Tributes paid to seven-year-old who died while cycling with her mum
Tributes have been paid to a seven-year-old girl who was killed as she cycled with her mum in Weston-super-Mare.
Dozens of flowers have been left at the spot on the A371 in Locking where the girl died, after colliding with a car as she pedalled to the shops.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened between the former RAF Locking base and The Helicopter Museum.

A seven-year-old girl has died after she was hit by a car while out on her bike.
The crash happened shortly before 3pm this afternoon between RAF Locking and The Helicopter Museum on the A371.
The little girl died at the scene.
The stretch of road is likely to remain closed for sometime, and police are appealing for witnesses.
