Funeral held for Sir Jack Hayward
The funeral has been held for Sir Jack Hayward, the entrepreneur who paid for the SS Great Britain to return to Bristol from the Falklands in 1970.
He paid £150,000 for the rusting ship to be tugged across the Atlantic. Mr Hayward also bought Lundy Island in the Bristol Channel and gifted it to the nation.

The funeral of Sir Jack Hayward - the man responsible for bringing the SS Great Britain back to Bristol - has been held in Wolverhampton.
His coffin was draped in the Union Jack - the flag after he was nicknamed after for his patriotism.
