Four-day fire strike underway

Firefighters go on strike across west country
Firefighters across the west country have walked out on strike for the weekend in their bitter row with the Government over pensions, ahead of a series of firework displays.
Members of the Fire Brigades Union left their stations at 6pm yesterday and will not return until 6pm on Tuesday, the evening before Bonfire Night.
