Organisers of The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta say it was a success, despite flights being grounded on Sunday by bad weather.

The final day of the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta got off to a wet start - with the morning mass assent cancelled because of the bad weather. Organiser say it has impacted on numbers - but it's too soon to give any official figures. A total of 325 balloons have flown over the four day event.

"We've not had a mass ascent this morning and we were very honest late last night to say that there wouldn't be a mass ascent so the crowds are reflective of that. But we've had a really great fiesta weekend. Thursday was a record crowd, Friday and Saturday were really very busy on site so we'll obviously have to do the counting up tomorrow morning once we've finished the event."
