Beth French has arrived back in Penzance after her record-setting swim from Cornwall to the Isles of Scilly. Her support boat returned her to the mainland after she became the first person ever to swim the route.

Success for Cornwall to Isles of Scilly swimmer
A woman from Somerset has made history by becoming the first person to swim from Cornwall to the Scillies.
Beth French, who's from Milverton, set off from Porthcurno yesterday lunchtime. She arrived on St Mary's this morning, completing the swim in 17 hours and 28 minutes. She said via twitter "I have an awesome body - mission completed!".
