Boy band One Direction have given their first interview about their video shoot on Clevedon Pier.

The stars caused hysteria amongst fans when they filmed for their music video, "You and I" at the famous landmark in March.

Clevedon Pier is re-opening to the public after being closed for two days for pop stars One Direction.

Hundreds of fans descended on the town after hearing that Harry Styles and his pals were making a video on the landmark.

The pier's trustees said it was shut to the public due to an exceptional fundraising opportunity.

Rumours of the band's visit spread quickly on social media, and dozens of fans came down to the seafront to try and catch a glimpse of them on the Pier.

They're best known for hits like 'What makes you beautiful' and 'best song ever'. They came to fame on ITV's X Factor
